How to delete your account in the ET Cloud HR app by ESOFT Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, and what happens to your data when you do.
1. Delete it in the app
In the ET Cloud HR app for iOS or Android, or on the web:
- Open the app and sign in
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account
- Confirm that you want to delete your account
Your account is closed straight away and you are signed out on every device. We delete your data within 30 days, as set out below, and email you when it is done.
2. Or ask us by email
If you cannot sign in, or no longer have the app, email hello@et.lk from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my ET Cloud HR account". We may ask you to confirm it is you, and will confirm by email when your account is deleted, within 30 days.
3. What is deleted and what is kept

| Your login, profile, photo, device and notification tokens, app settings, and Google sign-in link | Deleted within 30 days |
| Photos and documents you uploaded yourself | Deleted within 30 days, unless your employer has kept them as part of your employment record |
| Copies in our backups | Deleted within a further 35 days |
| Employment records your employer holds, such as payroll, EPF and ETF, tax, attendance and leave history | Kept by your employer for as long as they are legally required to, often several years. Ask your employer's HR team about these. |
| Billing records, for company accounts | Kept as long as tax law requires |
If you are the main admin of your company's account, deleting your own account does not delete the company's data. To close the whole company account, use Settings → Billing → Cancel, or email us.
